Bangkok International Airport has three terminals, a domestic Terminal and two International Terminals. The terminal for international traffic are situated next to each other, with the domestic terminal about 500 metres away, though connected with the international terminals by a free shuttle bus and also a walkway, air-conditioned to deal with the temperature and humidity.

International Terminal 1

International Terminal 1 has around 125 check-in desks, dealing with passengers for more than 30 airlines. Typical carriers operating from International Terminal 1 include Thai Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Korean Air, El Al, Air-India and Aeroflot.

International Terminal 2

A further 30 airlines or more use International Terminal 2, passengers checking in at around 100 different desks. Carriers using this terminal include Qantas, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, Kuwait Airways, KLM and British Airways.

Domestic Terminal

Smaller than the international terminals, the domestic terminal is occupied primarily by Bangkok Airlines and Thai Airways, with a small number of lesser known regional carriers here too.
