Shops
The airport can offer the visitor access to a large choice of retail outlets, the majority of them being in the Departures Hall, third floor. For souvenirs, books and electrical goods take a look at King Power Tax Free, who also run one of the two duty free stores in the airport. The usual clothes shops can also be found here, though less typical airport shops are also here in Bangkok, selling fruit and other locally produced goods.
Foreign Currency and cash machines
The currency exchange facilities at Bangkok International Airport can be found in each of the international terminals, with staffed counters in the arrival and departure halls as well as electronic machines around the terminals too. Cash machines are also prevalent around the airport, always handily placed for the shops and restaurants. The airport also offers access to three banks, offering all the usual range of bank services.
Food and Drink
As befits a place like Bangkok, the food on offer at the airport comes in all variations, from authentic Thai dishes to American fast food, and everything in between. Terminal 1 is where the fine dining options can primarily be found, whilst most of the fast food outlets are in Terminal 2.
